Caregiver Jobs in Utah County: Join the Brighter Days Team
By Julie Smith · Founder & Executive Director, Brighter Days Senior Day Center · About Julie
If you’re searching for caregiver jobs in Utah County, you already know this work matters. Caring for seniors isn’t just a job — it’s one of the most meaningful things a person can do.
Brighter Days Senior Day Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit senior day center opening in Utah County. We’re building a team of compassionate, reliable people who want to make a real difference in the lives of local seniors and their families.
Why Work in Senior Day Center?
Most caregiver jobs are in-home care — working alone in a client’s house. Senior day center is different:
- You work with a team. No solo shifts. You’re surrounded by colleagues who share the workload and support each other.
- Consistent weekday schedule. Monday through Friday, daytime hours. No overnight shifts, no weekend rotations.
- Variety every day. Group activities, music, exercise, meals, social engagement — not just sitting with one person.
- You see the impact. Watching seniors light up during activities, build friendships, and improve over time is deeply rewarding.

What Makes Brighter Days Different
We’re a nonprofit. That means we exist to serve the community, not to generate profit for shareholders. Our staff are treated as the foundation of what we do — not as interchangeable labor.
Our founder, Julie Smith, has over a decade of experience running senior day center programs. She knows what good leadership looks like because she’s done the frontline work herself.
