How our days support dementia
Every part of the day has a purpose.
01
The same routine every day
Same schedule, same staff, same place. That reduces confusion and anxiety.
02
Music and memories
Songs from younger years reach long-term memory: sing-alongs, listening and rhythm.
03
Gentle movement
Chair yoga, stretching and walks help mobility and better sleep.
04
Time with others
Games, crafts and conversation with peers who understand.
05
The senses
Art, textures, gardening and cooking improve alertness and calm agitation.
06
The whole person
We learn each person's history, likes and triggers. We care for the person, not the diagnosis.

For family caregivers
Asking for help is a wise choice.
Constant watching, the same questions again and again, lost sleep, guilt about taking a break. Caring for someone with dementia is hard, and it is not sustainable without rest.
Seven weekday hours let you work, rest, go to appointments or simply have time for yourself. We also host a monthly support group for caregivers.
